OK, so I heard about this band back at the end of 2007, and I have been in love with them ever since. This video happens to be the best version of my favorite song. It took me about 15 minutes to find this video cause NBC and SNL have been butt heads and not permitted anyone from sharing their stuff. Lame I know, but who cares? Here are Vampire Weekend singing M79.

UPDATE: July 14, 2009 There was once a video here but due to NBC’s continuation of buttheadedness, the video has been removed. This is not stopping me from looking for a replacement. Still an awesome song, and still and awesome performance.

I love it when mash-ups occur. When two songs or other forms of media mash together to create a new spectacular form of art. Well this is my new favorite. Today’s mash-up is what you get when you cross Toy Story with The Dark Knight.
